This year, for the first time, a panel of Pen World readers selected the nominations from a long list on pens seen in Pen World for the first time during 2014. Without conferring with each other, these judges selected five nominees in each of twelve different categories. The first hand painted fountain pen of Phoenix Lacquer Art which received an award is ‘MUSIC’ for the category ‘BEST FINE ART PEN’. The second award which Phoenix Lacquer Art received is for the category ‘BEST CULTURAL OF LITERARY THEME’ with the set of seven hand painted fountain pens ‘KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE’.
